The Americana revival is expressed in packaging design with nostalgic materials and aesthetics such as craft paper, rich blacks, hand drawn type, and a whole ‘lotta grit. The moody color palettes pair seamlessly with beautiful textures – mimicking a time of hand-pressed logos and painted shop signage.

GOODE COMPANY BBQ: CATERING BAGS
Houston, TX
Founded in 1977, this Texas barbecue joint has become a household name in Houston. While designing the restaurant carry-out packaging for Goode Co., we used iconic bags and pie boxes to ensure the company’s “tried and true, bona fide” brand experience makes the journey home with the customer.
SHINOLA: RETAIL SHOPPING BAGS
Detroit, MI
Shinola is a Detroit-based luxury design brand that celebrates thoughtful design and the beauty of industry through every product (watches, jewelry, leather goods and more). In designing a new retail shopping bag program for Shinola, an embossed, matte black hot-stamped logo and tone-on-tone bag brought the program to life and celebrates the craftsmanship of material selection.
WESTLAND DISTILLERY: PRODUCT PACKAGING
Seattle, WA
Seattle-based Westland Distillery specializes in the artisan craft of distilling American Single Malt Whiskey. In designing their retail box, we utilized a combination of corrugate and a laminated white paper stock to give it a rough, yet refined feel sound enough to house the three bottles of spirits in style.

As one of the original American outdoor apparel companies, Filson has been one of the premier outfitters for outdoorsmen of all kinds for over 120 years. Filson wanted a retail and ecommcerce packaging experience that highlighted their promise of unfailing quality, durability, and attention to detail which required additional attention to finishes and materials.
