West Elm, one of the premier retailers for unique modern furniture and home decor, was the first US retailer to adapt a shopping bag that uses less paper – the Eco Shopper. This was an excellent step in sustainability and Creative Retail Packaging was thrilled to provide eco-friendly solutions for their custom packaging solutions in efforts to help reduce their carbon footprint.

 In developing and manufacturing West Elm’s American-made and sustainable shopping bag, CRP aimed to deliver an innovative and contemporary bag that was not only on brand, but it mirrored their customers’ affinity to be good stewards of the environment. When presented to our clients, the bag’s features of custom sizes, 100% recyclable and compostable, with 40% post-consumer waste (PCW), the Eco Shopper was a natural fit.
