MARTIN LUTHER KING: THE BENEVOLENT DREAMER

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a social activist, dreamer, and visionary. He envisioned a world in which people would be treated with fairness regardless of the color of their skin and dreamed of a society that would be bonded by peace and equality.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

– Martin Luther King, Jr.

This January, as we celebrate fresh perspectives, we commemorate the trailblazing activism of MLK as he paved the way for new beginnings and growth that continue to guide us forward. He looked at the world through the lens of love and acceptance and stretched his perspective by seeking answers from other people, cultures, and places. He stopped settling for what was and pushed for what could be.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

– Martin Luther King, Jr.

We admire those who challenge the status quo and create disruption for something they believe in – Dr. King’s dream of equality and actions supported his vision. Today we celebrate his revolutionary spirit and incredible courage as we take steps forward in designing a better tomorrow.
